Lana Abraham-Murawski’s artwork depicts transformational experiences to alternate environments. Highlighting nature and the organic often pitted with an industrial element, but  abstracting these recognizable objects to help transport the viewer to wondrous places. Bright colors aim to evoke energy and self-recognition within the journey. She plays off negative space, but also utilizes the landscapes’ distinguishing horizons, borders, trees, roots, tunnels and bridges to connect the story. Abraham-Murawski’s focuses on how we sometimes feel connected, yet disconnected or caught in unusual situations, but push on to explore and find new meaning.
